When the clients first approached us, they had two primary requirements. The first was to create a space for a Christmas tree, and the other was to provide a bar counter for entertainment.

​

Upon visiting the apartment, we found that most of the spaces were large and copious, save for the master bedroom and kitchen. The most natural reaction to this was to find ways to expand the space. For the master, we took down the original walls of the master bathroom and enclosed it in glass to allow maximum transparency from the entrance to the end of the room.

The kitchen was also extended outwards towards the yard which we subsumed into the kitchen space while creating a new bar as a buffer from the dining area.
