Bintan Super Hotel

The Project sits on a land of approximately 5,000 square metres on the left of Plot H4 within the plot R4 as highlighted in red in the plan below, which forms a part of Treasure Bay, Pesona Lagoi Bintan on Bintan Island. To the east of the site is the future Holiday Inn Resort, while to the west is the Trove or Wisma BRC which houses various retail and F&B outlets. To its north is an Asian food court and Beer Garden that buffers the lagoon edge and site which, together with the Trove, form the main central activity hub for the entire Treasure Bay Development.

 

The brief therefore called for a continuation of this vision by introducing a street bazaar that operates predominantly in the evening cradled in between 2 budget hotels, forming a one-of-a-kind integrated budget hotel enclave for the bay to meet the demands of the budget traveller. The 1st storeys of the hotel blocks were also to be used for retail and F&B outlets that complements the bazaar activities and were to be opened to the general public, hence there was no need to have a proper demarcation between the various components and the hotel entrance. Landscaping was also needed in gelling the different components together. All these had to be done on a very lean budget.
