Despite getting a unit in one of HDB's most prestigious projects in Punggol, the owners were clueless in devicing a spatial plan for their squeezy apartment with curvy balcony parapets and slanted bedroom walls.

​

We set about thinking of an optimal spatial configuration and created a larger living and dining area by removing one bedroom and subsuming it as part of the common area. Finishes were deliberately made light and colour tones were kept neutral in order to maintain the copious amount of natural light and ventilation into the space.

In essence, spaces were made fit for living again with minor tweaks to the existing new flat.
