Cantonment Road

The brief for this office space in a shophouse at the fringe of Chinatown was to keep cost to the minimal yet having enough to house a total of about 40 personnel into the space.

 

As the operation of the office is fluid, production staff come and go and hence a need for a fluid space, with a permanent office space on the 2nd storey for the local staff. 

 

Inspiration for motifs were therefore drawn from the existing chinese railings which were then applied to the carpentry design.
